What a week to be in California. I had the opportunity to photograph quite a few fun events during Grammy week in LA, one of my highlights was my friend Sarah Darling giving a presentation to a room full of high-school children interested in becoming artists, just like her. They asked innocent questions and Sarah was honest with her responses about the real day to day life of the touring/recording/songwriting world.
In between interviews and the Grammy’s Sarah and I did make time to pal-around LA! Seeing the Hollywood Sign was so neat!
What a neat event of incredibly talented young adults! Grammy Camp in the Schools Live Concert was something everyone who loves Jazz should see. It was mesmerizing to watch these young talented musicians rock their hearts out.
